What does CHEPTO do? GREAT QUESTION!!
The Camp Hill Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (CHEPTO) is dedicated to serving Hoover, Eisenhower, and Lion Academy learners and their families, grades K-5. CHEPTO raises funds to support buses for field trips (our biggest ticket item!), meals and snacks for teacher appreciation week and parent/teacher conferences, teacher classroom reimbursements, new teacher funds, treats at the Hover Fun Run and Field Days, muffins during PSSA testing, signs outside classrooms, frames for student art, and SO MUCH MORE!
How can I stay informed of CHEPTO activies?
- Become a Class Rep! We are looking for one or two people from each class to get involved.
- Job responsibility: Attend PTO meetings and report out to other families in the class on what's coming up ... Help find volunteers for CHEPTO activities ... Help create a classroom directory.
- Perks: Chance to win a raffle prize at each meeting! Free tickets to CHEPTO activities!
- Follow our CHEPTO Facebook group for all the latest information:
- Camp Hill Elementary PTO" (PTO Facebook Page)
- Our Facebook page is intended to keep families informed of PTO, school, and district events, publicize volunteer needs, field questions for the school, and improve communication between the district and parents.
- If you're not on FB, check your Schoology emails regularly for any important announcements!
- Are there other resources for connecting with Camp Hill Families (sites not affiliated with the district or CHEPTO):
- "Parents of Hoover Elementary, Camp Hill, PA:" https://www.facebook.com/groups/HooverCampHill/
- "Parents of Eisenhower Elementary School:" https://www.facebook.com/groups/Eisenhowercamphill/
