About Me

Mrs. Saussaman

Welcome!  I am so excited about being your teacher this year! You may be visiting to learn a little bit about me.  This is the beginning of my 4th year as a teacher at Eisenhower Elementary School.  Before I was a teacher here, I student taught in 3rd grade, and I was the building sub before taking the 3rd Grade Learning Support Teacher in fall of 2020.  Fun fact: I student taught in the same room that is now my classroom! 

In 2019, I graduated from Bloomsburg University with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Special Education, and a concentration in science.  I went on to receive my teaching certificate in Special Education Pk- 8.  While at Bloomsburg, I was on the Women's Lacrosse team as well as an OWL (Orientation Workshop Leader).  I have loved learning and growing every year through my own education, as well as learning from our AMAZING students at Eisenhower! 

My husband Colby and I got married in January 2023!  In my free time, you can find me spending time with family and friends, playing pickleball, shopping, enjoying my Starbucks,  and watching Penn State athletics!  

I look forward to getting to know you and having a fabulous school year!
